try putting a Iron nail or two in reagent bottle of Iron ll Sulfate this keeps it as Iron ll
If left without nail, it reverts to Iron lll

I have a Gieger counter manufactured by D of E Workshops NSW
Now experiencing difficulties with it, Physics teacher is sure probe is cracked/broken
Can anyone recommend where a new probe might be sourced

pH probes have limited life (2 to 3 years normal)
Doyou have any data loggers this is the best when probes refuse to be calibrated at the end of their life just replace probe you still have interface and datalogger

I always thought Chemwatch on net was too slow for Labels /MSDS etc
So conned Dept head to purchase Chemwatch on disc $80 / year 4 upgrades every 3 months

It's only good for about a week1
Just take Dropper bottles off shelf add 1 drop Sulphuric then after everyone's finished Ditch
( tech term ) and make new

Use round bar or screwdriver shaft to unscrew, if Jet comes out as well warm in flame and use two pair of pliers to unscrew Jet use Flat fine file till top of jet is shiney then borrow Oxy/Acet. Jet cleaners from industrial arts section and run these in & out hole in jet

A Normal Sol'ncontains the gram equivalent of the dissolved substance in a litre
But to be specific with H Cl 1M = N with Sulphuric 1M = 2N Don't try to run with it Just get out of trouble without looking a bit silly
