You all have some wonderful ideas of making Phenolphthalein Agar, will have to give it a try, I use a large tray at 3cm depth, but the kids have to do the rest.

We use very simple experiment. Put spatula of sand and same of iron(III)oxide(red) in large t/tube. Half fill with water.Stopper it and shake. Add 2 ml of detergent and a few drops of kerosene.
