Anyway I have recently moved to the Gladstone region in central Queensland with my diesel fitting part...

Re: bell jars

HI, I just got my bell jar today and have no idea what sort of hoses etc I will need to make it work. All the one's I have seen on Youtube seem to be sitting on some sort of base which the pump connects to, but those jars are solid. The one I have as you can see from the pick has a stopper in the to...

Re: Safety Shower testing

What's a safety shower shock?
I just test mine by turning it on and letting it run and then turning it off and cleaning up the mess!

Re: Certificate course @ Bankstown TAFE

In my experience with TAFE if you get RPL you do not have to pay for the parts of the course you get RPL for because course fees generally apply on a unit basis and if you don't do that unit you don't pay for it. There may be an administration fee involved but it is generally minimal

Re: Corrosive Liquids cabinet

My cabinet is very corrided aswell it is about four years old. The self closing mechanism on the door doesn't work anymore because the bracket attaching it to the inside of the cabinet has corroded away and fallen off. I have to wipe it out all the time because the fumes condense and settle. The nex...

Re: Stools in labs

Bindi we have the same deal as you in one of our labs but the other lab has normal desks with chairs and then a massive pile of the tall chairs in the corner which I hate because they are NEVER stacked neatly and they are always in the way. Very much a OH&S issue and if I had it my way they woul...

Stationary

Hi All, I just want to know if you provide stationary for teachers if they request it for pracs. I am getting extreamly frustrated with teacher requests for things like highligher textas, one lead pencil, permanent markers, rulers, blue tack, sticky tape and scissors. All students were provided with...
