Thanks for the replys, I made it up with the suggestions and still found it to congeal(if you know what i mean) and this stuff sort of floated to the top. I hope that it was meant to do that, I was thinking that it would be a red solution. But I checked it and it still worked as it should do. Thanks...

Hi all, I have just made up 100ml of Methyl Red, and have been stiring forever, anyway it doesn't seem to be mixing very well. :-| Was reading a previous post about cresal red and Rob says to filter. Was able to give them ago, found 3 not working and will try to fix them when time permits.

My HOD and the rest of our dept are looking (or asking) for ideas on what we could do for science week this year.
We are over the making of models and straw towers.

I agree hilz, My schools refurb sounds like it is at the same stage as yours. By my schedule calculations we may be finished in 20 working days. On occassion I go into my shipping container and have a moment thinking 'o my god' I have to unpack all this stuff find room for it plus do my normal dutie...
