We have approx 1050 students - years 7 - 12, 16 teachers, 6 labs & me. (The teachers teach other subjects as well, not only Science). I work approx 71/2 to 8 hrs per day & have all school holidays off. The Head of Dept's made the rule that all teachers do one prac per class a week.

Hi Rosemary, Just a suggestion, but are you able to swap the lense from another microscope that you know is clear. If this works, you could buy another lense instead of sending the whole unit away (as it may be a bit costly). Are all the lenses cloudy, or just that one? Have you tried to clean the l...

Hi, We use Science World 7, 8 9 & 10. They are OK, but some of the practicals have chemicals which have restrictions for middle school, eg copper sulphate & crystal making. We just substitute with salt. Some complaints from the teachers, but hey the faculty seniors made the decision & or...

Hi there,
Is anyone familiar with the 'Footy Colours' table. It can be used with Acids & Bases. Basically mixing different chemicals with various indicators represents the team colours in footy?
